At 1ClickImpact, our mission is to make real environmental impact as simple as a single API call. Today we are thrilled to announce our partnership with BLE Radar, a phone sensor network that quietly turns the invisible signals around you into trees in the ground and plastic out of the ocean.

What started as turning nearby Bluetooth and WiFi density into funded planet impact has, in the last week, grown into an atlas of the invisible world. Every unit of impact it earns is fulfilled live through the 1ClickImpact impact API.

Reading Seven Invisible Layers of the World

BLE Radar turns an ordinary Android phone into a field instrument. As you go about your day, it passively reads the environmental signals your phone already senses and maps them onto a shared, crowdsourced grid. No extra hardware, no effort. It is less a scanner and more a window onto the layers of the world we usually cannot see.

Privacy is the whole design

Every reading is anonymous and aggregate. In BLE Radar's own words: “No device addresses, no cell tower IDs, no raw location ever leaves your phone.” The network learns the shape of the invisible world without ever learning anything about you.

How a Scan Becomes a Real Tree

The magic is in the loop. As you passively contribute coverage to the map, BLE Radar accumulates credits. When a full unit is reached, it calls the 1ClickImpact API and funds a real action, fulfilled by a vetted project partner rather than left as a promise.

Why this matters: BLE Radar never asks its users to open a wallet. Impact is earned through data people were generating anyway, the purest form of impact as an API.

BLE Radar's live impact page does not show numbers it made up. The figures are “1ClickImpact's own verified account totals, read directly from them,” verified via 1ClickImpact and not a self reported estimate.

Named certificates, not badges

Each completed unit issues a named certificate with the real unit count and a verification code, by email. Not a badge you could lose access to, and not a number that can drop to zero.

Honest, standard math

Conversions use standard USDA Forest Service factors, about 21.8 kg CO2 per tree per year, and average passenger vehicle figures. A year of scanning can offset roughly 220 kg of CO2, about 888 km of car driving.
